Trusted Reviews - Dell Chromebook 13 Review:

"In return for the premium you pay for the Dell, you get the look and feel of a high-end laptop and the option to upgrade to a top-end of a Core i5 with 8GB of memory (the version tested) if you so choose. It makes a decent impression for a premium Chromebook – although not quite good enough to justify the asking price." full review

Tech Radar - Dell Chromebook 13 Review:

"Perhaps high-end Chromebooks were inevitable, but it looks like the systems like the Chromebook Pixel have started a new trend. Although many Chromebooks still offer budget hardware to run Chrome OS – a largely cloud-based operating system – manufacturers are starting to take things to the next level by offering specs and features you might find on a Windows machine." full review

Reason to Use - Dell Chromebook 13 Review:

"I have been using it continuously for over 9 months and never found it to be slow, sluggish, jerky or feeling lethargic. As a common user, I regularly work with 4 to 6 tabs opened in my Chrome browser and never felt that the Chromebook can not cope up with the load. In fact, sometimes, the number of tabs are up to 10 but it still handles them well. The videos from YouTube etc. ran smoothly without any stutter or framing." full review

Laptop Magazine - Dell Chromebook 13 Review:

"While other Chromebooks scream "cheap," the Dell Chromebook 13 makes a great impression even before you turn it on. Its sturdy magnesium-alloy design and soft-touch carbon-fiber finish on the lid inspire business-notebook-class confidence. When you power it up, you're greeted by a full-HD display, and it will stay lit for a very long time, thanks to more than 13 hours of battery life. (No, that's not a typo.) With a starting price of $429, this Celeron-powered laptop is not cheap -- and other machines are slightly faster -- but based on our testing, the Chromebook 13 is a great buy." full review

James has been a Chromie ever since 2012, when he accepted a seasonal position as a Google Specialist, educating customers about Chromebooks in his local Best Buy. Since then he's converted his home to 100% Chrome OS, and has owned over half a dozen Chrome OS devices over the years. He currently uses the 2015 Google Pixel at home, and an Asus Chromebox for work.
